Several years ago I read in the Farmer’s Almanac that viewing the sunrise on the Summer Solstice would bring good luck for the year.  Whether that was true or simply an old Farmer’s tale, I figured I could use a little extra luck, so why not give it a try?  It was quite a task getting myself up and out.  Did you know the sun rises at 5:15 am on the Summer Solstice? It’s hard to believe that the end of summer is unofficially here. Somehow, we’re already three-quarters of the way through the year. What happened?!
