Design/Build - The Installation.

We at Scott Byron & Company pride ourselves on working together to make sure that the design and your finished project are one and the same.  This is accomplished by making sure that there is constant communication between our design professionals and the construction team to make sure that your wants and dreams do indeed become a reality.  We also strive to make the construction process as pleasant an experience as possible.

Our Project Managers are trained to manage construction sites as well as act as the liaison between you and any sub-contractors.  We handle the scheduling, make sure the installation meets our rigorous standards and handle any problems or situations that may arise.

Of course, any landscape design, no matter how beautiful, depends on magnificent plants and materials.  Our buyers are trained horticulturists with specialties in turf, botany and a myriad of other related areas to ensure the finest in plants and material.

Our Foreman and crews are carefully trained in construction, maintenance and those tasks specific to the design.  Those tasks can be as simple as planting a flower bed or as complicated as shoring up a bluff.  Our goal is your satisfaction and happiness.

Frequently Asked Questions

Question: How do you schedule my project?

Answer: First, you and your sales person/designer determine the optimum timing.  The designer then works with the project manager to schedule all of the sub-contractors, make sure materials are ordered and the schedule works with yours.  We try to ensure efficiency with a minimum of disruption to your life.

Question: What is the daily schedule, typically?

Answer: Our crews try to arrive on a job site by 7:00am, traffic and distance not withstanding.  Minimally crews work eight-hour days, five day weeks.  Of course, in order to get a job done on time, or because weather has caused set-backs, our crews will work longer hours and Saturdays as well.  However, we try to maintain a balance of work and personal time for our employees even though our business is seasonal in nature.
