Scott Byron & Co., Inc. is an award-winning commercial landscape maintenance and landscape architectural design/build company that provides “green” services to new or existing facilities, buildings, or corporate headquarters. In delivering our landscape services, we operate on this principle: “We take care of all the details for you.”
We employ over 300 people including landscape professionals with degrees in horticulture, arboriculture, and landscape architecture. Our 29 landscape maintenance crews and 18 construction crews provide services daily throughout the North Shore and beyond.
We provide predictable schedules, documented custom site standards, Scott Byron & Co., Inc. maintenance standards, and consistent and timely execution. Ultimately, we provide accountability to your employees, customers and company by making sure your property is always safe, attractive, and environmentally healthy.

Our newly re-done and restored courtyard looks just wonderful. Many thanks to landscape designer Scott Byron for his beautiful work and thanks to our generous donors. The stone in the courtyard had deteriorated to an extent that, I think personally, that the Vestry would have had to fence off the broken-up areas for the winter, if we had been unable to proceed with this restoration. The entry to the church looks welcoming, inviting and attractive. Hurrahs and Te Deums!

Each project we undertake includes magnificent plants and materials. Our buyers are trained horticulturists with specialties in turf, botany and other related areas to ensure your landscape will be comprised of premium plants and material that are both structurally and weather sustainable.
Once we have designed your landscape and selected the plants and material, we manage all aspects of installation. Our expert project managers work in conjunction with a skilled foreman and construction crew. From creating detailed schedules to acting as the liaison between you and sub-contractors, we ensure your project is executed on time, on budget, and problem free.
I am writing to thank your team for the excellent job they did at Beth Emet Synagogue in Evanston. This was a project with a modest budget and a tight construction schedule. Your construction team, headed by Jim, finished the work on time and to a high level of quality. My special appreciation goes to my friend Chuck, who did a great job designing the pathway and surrounding landscape. At the same time he integrated the new features effectively into the existing front plaza design, creating a new streetscape that noticeably improves the look of the building.
